“We have been using Pederson’s products for several years now, and we love them! Whenever we are asked about our thoughts on certain ingredients in cured meats, the answer is easy—we recommend Pederson’s, because not only are all of their products free of things like sugar, natural flavors, and other weird preservatives, many of them are also Whole30 friendly. We are fortunate to be able to buy Pederson’s products from our local Sprouts farmer’s market, as well as at Whole Foods (it’s called Nature’s Rancher there, but its the same delicious bacon), and we are so grateful to be able to team up with them to offer you some of our favorite Pederson’s products in a box that we have curated for you!"
Natives of Miami, Florida, Danny and Maura Vega are the co-hosts of the Fat Fueled Family podcast. Danny received his bachelor’s degree in political science from Columbia University, where he played football, and his Master’s of Science in Human Performance from the University of Florida, where he interned in the weight room. He went on to be the head strength coach for VCU basketball, where the Rams won the conference championship, and beat Duke in the national tournament. The Richmond Times Dispatch wrote an article on Danny’s innovative training methods that were instrumental in the Rams hitting the best record in school and conference history. Maura has always had a strong passion for dance. She was classically trained in Ballet, Jazz, and Contemporary and has had the great privilege of taking master classes at the world-renown Millennium Complex in Los Angeles, California with the likes of Wade Robson and other popular choreographers. With their podcast and Fat Fueled Family blog, Danny and Maura hope to spread their love for nutrition and fitness to other families who have the same goals of raising their kids to thrive and setting them up for a lifetime of success.
