Meet our friend Bailey Ryan. Bailey grew up in a Minneapolis suburb and recalls having a pretty standard upbringing. The thing that set Bailey apart from her classmates was her weight. She remembers always being the biggest; the biggest kid in class, biggest girl in the group, and then the biggest person in the room.
In April of 2015, at 22 years old, weighing roughly 300 pounds, Bailey's journey began. While in nursing school, Bailey took control and decided to live life like she meant it. Bailey has documented every step, set back, and triumph of her journey for us in her blog, PaleoBailey - Healing My Body From The Inside Out.
Two years later, Bailey's down 125 pounds and is living a life she's designed for herself - not one where she's held back from experiences because of her size and health. Bailey's journey is not only inspiring, but it's real life. Bailey talks us through the all-too-common struggles of body image, breaking bad habits, and learning to live intentionally. We're pretty sure there isn't a soul out there that can't relate on some level with Bailey, which is why we wanted to share her journey with you! We hope you are as inspired by @PaleoBailey as we are!
